The Belmont Stakes

I wrote in my other post (The Belmont Stakes: What to Wear) all about how I was so indecisive on what I was going to wear. Ironic, I know. However, I ended up going with the Lilly Pulitzer dress, and I could not be happier.

It's no secret that I love shift dresses, and this particular one was so comfortable in the heat. I love the way they hang, and look. Therefore, there were no regrets with my outfit choice.

Roisin stole one of my favorite Lilly Pulitzer dresses from my closet. Although it is one of my favorite dresses, I find it hard to find events to wear it to. I considered the Belmont Stakes as an opportunity, but I let my sister try it out instead.

Overall, I think that Belmont was a pretty fun time. Although I could not stay until 6:30 for the big race, we were able to catch five exciting races! I loved seeing nearly everyone dressed up to have an all around good time. I am already excited to go back next year.
